Tupua Horo Nuku (Seaview-Days Bay)
Start this route at the Waione Bridge at the east end of Petone and follow Port Road to Point Howard, where the wonderful Tupua Horo Nuku shared path starts. Opened in 2026, this path takes you as far as Sunshine Bay, just before Days Bay.

Navigating the Seaview Marina
Cyclists and walkers will need to cross the road along Port Road by the Marine supply shops just before Marina, and enter the marina at the next entrance to the marina. Halfway down the wharf turn left to follow the track along the water. Keep following signs to get you to the marina boat ramp, from where you will need to follow the shared path along the fuel pipe lines.

A popular fishing spot. Don’t get tangled up in fishing lines on this narrow-shared path.
Seaview Marina
Have a sip of water from our Great Harbour Way water fountain at the Seaview marina.
Point Howard / Sorento Bay
The start of the Tupua Horo Nuku shared path. Enjoy a swim at Sorento Bay.
Boat shed at Lowry Bay
The historic Skerrett Boat Shed; an Edwardian-era wooden weatherboard boathouse.
York Bay
One of the lovely bays along the Tupua Horo Nuku shared path.
Days Bay
A wonderful beach and park, very popular with locals and Wellingtonians.
